How long does one sheet last?

One Papaya paper towel replaces 17 ROLLS of disposable paper towel! Most people like to compost and start a new one after 2-3 months of average wear and tear, but one can last up to 6-9 months depending on use!

How does it work?

Your Papaya paper towel will feel a lil’ stiff when dry. Simply wet to soften, use it like you would a paper towel, rag or sponge, and then hang after use for our no-smell, quick-dry, easy-storage solution!

What are they made of?

Papaya paper towels are made of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton - both natural and renewable materials! So you can toss them in the compost at the end of their lifecycle and start a new one guilt free :)

How do you wash them?

For regular everyday use, hand-washing with soap and water does the trick. For a deeper clean (approx. once a week) you can machine wash & air-dry or place them on the top rack of your dishwasher during a cycle!

What makes them antibacterial?

Papaya’s materials are super quick drying (especially when hung on our hook!). Most bacteria thrives in damp environments, so unlike dish towels, wash cloths or sink sponges that tend to stay damp and never get fully dry, Papaya paper towels dry so quickly, they inhibit the growth of that icky bacteria!

How long do they take to dry?

Your Papaya paper towels will start to dry within 1-2 hours and are typically fully dry in 3-4 hours! Unlike other materials that stay damp overnight, allowing bacteria to breed and develop that icky mildew smell.

I’ve been using the Papaya reusable towels for a couple of weeks now and love them. They dry quickly and haven’t had any smell like a sponge would. I use them daily to wipe down my granite countertop and have used them to wash dishes. I would definitely recommend this and have bought a couple as gifts already!

Efficient and Effective!

I've been using these reusable paper towels for about 2 weeks and they are impressive and doing an amazing job. They are super absorbent, leave surfaces clean, and are very easy to care for and sanitize and have not stained even after wiping coffee, chocolate or other stain producing spills or messes. I sanitize them with dish detergent and a few drops of bleach and their beautiful vibrancy has not faded nor has the towel disintegrated. The hook keeps them handy and within reach and gives then a place to dry. They wring well so there is no drip while it is drying. Highly recommend this money saving and paper waste countering solution!

I have to admit that the Papaya song got stuck in my head and I ordered some in hopes the ear worm would go away. I am so happy I did. They are so much better than my kitchen sponge for dishes and clean up. I use one in the shower to prevent hard water spots…works like a dream. They dry quickly and never smell! The only thing they didn’t do was get rid of the ear worm! 🎶 Pa-paaaaa-aaaaa-aa-ya🎶

These rags are truly amazing! I was super skeptical and got the cheaper version from Amazon. They still stink so I thought, what makes these different? I got them expecting to be disappointed as well, but honestly it has blown my mind how they dry quickly and there’s literally no smell! We would have to swap out our rags almost daily, these could go a week or more without any icky smells!
